Joining the Fox School in January 2010, Ms. Katherine Gerst is responsible for teaching  core business communications courses at the Fox School. She has also taught principles  of marketing, consumer behavior, advertising, and strategic applications of technology in  marketing. Ms. Gerst previously worked for the School District of Philadelphia’s Office  of High School Reform, where she helped manage college awareness efforts across the  more than 60 high schools in the district. From January 2007 to February 2008, Ms. Gerst  directed the Fox School’s assessment efforts to assure learning and to comply with AACSB  International’s accreditation standards. She has also served as the Fox School’s associate  director of enrollment management and as an undergraduate admissions counselor at the  university level. Ms. Gerst frequently presents on university admissions-related topics, such  as using technology in enrollment management, the college admissions process and teen  culture. She earned her bachelor’s and MBA degrees from the Fox School of Business.
