Dr. Plehn-Dujowich is an Assistant Professor of Accounting, with joint appointments in Finance and Strategic Management. He was previously an Assistant Professor of Economics at the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago and has undergraduate degrees in economics and management science from M.I.T. His research focus lies at the intersection of managerial accounting, corporate finance, and strategy. His research is being funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), Kauffman Foundation, U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). He has published in the International Journal of Industrial Organization, Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, Economics of Innovation and New Technology, Small Business Economics, Economics Letters, Economics Bulletin, and the Review of Economic Dynamics. He has presented in various prestigious national and international conferences, such as the annual meetings of the American Accounting Association (AAA) and American Finance Association (AFA).
