Mr. James Moustafellos has extensive experience in architecture, design and the luxury jewelry sector. He is the founder and principal of Intellectual Property, a Philadelphia-based research and design studio. In 2006, Mr. Moustafellos and his wife Karen won the grand prize at Temple’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute’s annual Be Your Own Boss Bowl for the business plan for their jewelry design and manufacturing firm, Elements and Alloys (EnA). Mr. Moustafellos has taught architecture at the Tyler School of Art, and in Spring 2010 he co-instructed a special course, with Dr. Youngjin Yoo of the MIS Department, titled “Designing Innovation in an iPod World.” He has lectured and exhibited his works across the globe, and one of his designs, “Frame of Referents” was accepted into the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s collection in 2004. Mr. Moustafellos earned his bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and his master’s degree in architecture from Princeton University.
