Dr. Gerald Zeitz is an Associate Professor of Human Resources Management (HRM) at the Fox School of Business. He instructs eight HRM courses at Fox, including courses in organizations and management theory and international HRM. Since September 2000, Dr. Zeitz has advised a dozen doctorial students in the completion of their dissertations at Temple University. He has published more than a half dozen refereed articles in such journals as the Human Resources Development Review, International Journal of Human Resources Management, Social Science Journal and Academy of Management Review. Dr. Zeitz has presented his work to audiences worldwide, from Cincinnati, Houston and Philadelphia to Athens, Berlin and Bergen, Norway. Dr. Zeitz earned his PhD from University of Wisconsin, where he majored in sociology and organization studies. There, he wrote his dissertation on "Boundary-spanning, power and control in professional human service organizations.
