Dr. George D. Titus has been a professor of strategic management at the Fox School of Business since 1977. His research interests lie in research and development, engineering management and strategic management of innovations/technology and entrepreneurship. Dr. Titus is currently studying the impact of knowledge management in business organizations and the implications for strategy implementation and performance. Past research has included the article “Differences in IT Effectiveness Among Firms: An Empirical Investigation,” with C. Jiang and T. Han prior to the Hawaii International Conference on Business in May 2007. Dr. Titus received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Gannon University and a master’s of science from Duke University in mechanical engineering. He also has an MBA in management and operations, a master’s of art in applied economics and a PhD in management from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. Dr. Titus previously taught engineering at Duke University from 1963 to 1965.
