Dr. J. Jay Choi is Laura H. Carnell Professor of Finance and International Business at Temple University. He teaches international finance, capital markets, and corporate finance. He is a doctoral advisor in international business, and a member of Faculty Council of Institute of Global Management Studies and CIBER. He is a recipient of Musser Award for Excellence in Leadership and Distinguished Faculty Alumni Research Fellowship, and an inductee of Research Roundtable. Previously he was on the faculty of Columbia Business School and an international economist at Chase Manhattan Bank. He has been a visiting faculty at University of Hawaii, University of Pennsylvania (Wharton), NYU (Stern), International University of Japan, and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. As an author of over fifty articles and books and over one hundred presentations, he is an internationally renowned scholar in international financial management, exchange risk management, and emerging market finance. He is a Founding Editor of an Elsevier Science book series, International Finance Review, an editor of Journal of Economics and Business, and on the editorial boards for a number of journals.
