Dr. Bertrand Guillotin joined the Fox School of Business on July 1st, 2015, following appointments as Director of the International Programs Office at Duke University (Fuqua School of Business) and as part-time instructor with Campbell University in RTP, NC after a successful international corporate career in Germany and in the US (10 years). Having spent more than 25 years outside his home country, he has done business in more than 30 countries and speaks French, German, and English fluently.

At Fox, Bertrand serves as the Director of the International Business Administration undergraduate program (Strategic Management department), and IB Association Academic Advisor. He teaches undergraduate and graduate students in the OMBA and PMBA programs. His research combines international business and strategic management.

Bertrand is also very engaged with the Academic of International Business as Chair of the US Northeast Chapter (2nd largest in the world) and with the Consortium for Undergraduate International Business Education as the Fox School of Business Representative. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Temple Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER), the AIB US Northeast Chapter Executive Board (ex officio), and the Editorial Board of the Thunderbird International Business Review

Bertrand’s recent scholarly publications include a paper-based DBA Thesis (2016), as well as articles in the Journal of International Education in Business (forthcoming) and the Thunderbird International Business Review (lead article Sept/Oct 2015 issue). Other publications include articles in the Financial Times (London, UK), Les Echos, a prominent French economic newspaper, and the European Foundation for Management Development’s Global Focusmagazine.

Bertrand holds a DBA from the AACSB-EQUIS-AMBA-accredited Grenoble Ecole de Management, France, an MBA in International Management from Thunderbird (Arizona State University), a European Diploma of Higher Education in International Marketing from FEDE (Switzerland), a Manager du Commerce International diploma from ESARC business school (France), and a Brevêt de Technicien Supérieur en Commerce International from LETP M. Tessier (France).
