Professor Arvind V. Phatak, is Carnell Professor of Management and International Business and Management. He has a B.Sc. and MSW. (M.S. University of Baroda, (India), MBA (Temple University) and a Ph.D. (UCLA). Professor Phatak is Executive Director of the Institute of Global Management Studies, and the Temple University CIBER and was twice Chairman of the GSM Department. A Fulbright Senior Research Fellow, and recipient of awards such as Temple University's Great Teacher Award (Pioneer Recipient), the Distinguished Faculty Award, and the MBA Professor of the Year Award (Pioneer Recipient), he has authored numerous articles, and seven international management and strategy books. Mc-Graw Hill published his newest book Managing in a Diverse and Dynamic Global Environment in 2004. Professor Phatak has lectured and consulted worldwide.
