Dr. Kumaraswamy studies the management of innovation and growth, and strategic adaptation by firms in emerging economies such as India. He has published his research in top-tier journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science and MIS Quarterly, and co-edited the book “Managing in the Modular Age: Architectures, Networks and Organizations”. He serves on the Editorial Board of the Journal of International Management. Dr. Kumaraswamy teaches graduate courses in Strategic Management, Organization Theory and the Management of Technology and Innovation. He received his PhD from NYU’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business and, before joining the Fox School, had taught at Rutgers University, Camden, and Singapore Management University.
