Movitas LLC announced the acquisition of PhindMe LLC, a leading provider of web-based tools for creating mobile websites and mobile marketing campaigns. The PhindMe platform includes mobile communication and marketing solutions for marketing agencies, optimized for all browser-based mobile devices, and a direct-to-business mobile solution, branded Everywhereigo. The acquisition enhances the capabilities of Movitas, a provider of real-time mobile communication, marketing and commerce solutions for location-centric businesses. Hydrocoil power
Hydrocoil Power, a MADV company that presented at the organization's April 2008 venture forum, was featured in a recent NY Times Article, New Jersey edition titled "In an Age of Fossil fuel, Returning to the Water for Electricity." Announcing Mid-Atlantic Diamond Ventures
After nearly five years of outstanding support for the Mid-Atlantic region's
most promising science and technology start-up companies, Diamond State
Ventures (DSV) is joining forces with the Innovation and Entrepreneurship
Institute (IEI) of Temple University 's Fox School of Business and will
be known as Mid-Atlantic Diamond Ventures (MADV) . As of January 2006,
the emerging MADV program will be part of, and administered by, IEI.
Temple University 's founder, Russell Conwell, famously described "Acres
of Diamonds" found no further away than one's own back yard. In homage
both to Diamond State Ventures, and to Conwell, we have chosen the diamond
as an image of the entrepreneurial gems awaiting discovery in the Mid-Atlantic
region.
The new Mid-Atlantic Diamond Ventures (MADV) will deliver the same high-quality
coaching and advisory services to technology and science entrepreneurs
and will regularly host venture forums at partner institutions around
the region.
