The Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning’s fourth Fall 2015 session titled ASSESSING: Student Assessment and Evaluation is on Monday, November 9th from noon-12:50 in Speakman 114.  Please RSVP to CITL@temple.edu so we can have lunch available when you arrive!

Assessments should provide both you, the educator, and students themselves with evidence of how well they have mastered program, course and unit objectives.  Thus, what you want students to learn and be able to do (student outcomes) should guide the choice and design of the assessment.  Aligning assessments with learning objectives provides students with the opportunities to learn and practice the knowledge and skills that will be required on the various assessments you design.
