Temple University

Temple University's main campus is located in Philadelphia, PA, the second
largest city on the east coast of the United States and an international center
of education, commerce and culture. It is strategically located for corporate
partnerships in a hub of the financial, information technology, medical, pharmaceutical
and tourism industries. The University maintains two other campuses in the
city of Philadelphia, the Center City Campus and the Health Sciences Campus,
as well as three suburban campuses and an education center in Harrisburg, the
state capital of Pennsylvania.
Temple University Rome
Established in 1966, Temple University Rome (TUR) resides in the beautiful Villa Caproni overlooking the Tiber River. TUR offers summer, single semester or full-year programs of undergraduate full-time study in international business, architecture, visual arts, liberal arts and Italian studies. Course work in visual arts is also available at the master's level. Courses are taught by Temple University faculty from the University's Main Campus in Philadelphia, as well as faculty from Italy and other European countries. Classes are supplemented with visits to points of interest in Rome and throughout Italy.
Temple University Japan
Located in Tokyo, Temple University Japan (TUJ) is the oldest and largest American college in Japan. Founded in 1982 to offer American-style higher education to Japanese students, TUJ now offers instruction to students from other countries as well. Its 1,700 students pursue undergraduate degrees in fields such as American studies, Asian studies, English, economics, general studies, history, political science and religion. They may also take graduate courses in business administration, economics, international law and teaching English as a second language. Nearly half its graduate students come from outside Japan.
By bringing Japanese students and students from other nations together, TUJ fosters inter-cultural understanding and educational exchange. Some come from the United States to join Japanese students in the undergraduate program where all courses, except for foreign language instruction, are taught in English. Courses in Japanese language and Asian Studies are conducted in English by Temple faculty from the University's Main Campus in Philadelphia, visiting professors from other universities, and Japanese faculty. TUJ also offers graduate courses at its facility in Osaka.
