Why Fox MBA?

The trademarks of the Fox MBA are its focus on four fundamental principles:
1. Integrated Curriculum
During your first semester of study, you will experience a rigorous introduction to management perspectives on the key disciplines on which business decisions are made. These core courses cover disciplines such as accounting, finance, marketing, operations management, management information systems and economics. The instructional approach to these courses involves presenting a common set of issues, problems or circumstances, which each course addresses in relation to that subject. The Dynamic, integrated curriculum utilizes cases rooted in real-world business problems to address these issues.
2. Real World Learning
The cornerstone of experiential learning in the Fox MBA is our Enterprise Management Consulting Practicum or EMC Practicum. This year long course enables students to deliver professional level consulting services to companies and organizations throughout the Northeast business corridor of the US. Guided by faculty mentors, students experience the demands of starting a new venture, developing a new product or entering a new market.
The realities of business management are demonstrated through the many corporate and governmental speakers who address our students in the classroom as well as through networking events organized by the Fox School’s Graduate Career Management Center. Also, faculty and administration ensure that students are informed of the wealth of speaker engagements open to our students from such organizations as the World Affairs Council, International Chambers of Commerce and professional organizations such as the American Marketing Association and the Society for Human Resources Management.
3. Personalized Service
Throughout your experience at the Fox School of Business, specific attention is paid to those services which will ensure your success. Academic and career advisors help plan your educational experience and develop a strategy for managing your career through a personalized Leadership Development Program. Faculty and business mentors help you understand how the theory of the classroom applies to the reality of the work place.
4. Value
Ranked No. 1 Value for Money in the U.S. by Financial Times, the Fox MBA Program yields high return on your investment. Temple University is a public university affiliated with the State of Pennsylvania, which allows for lower tuition rates. The Fox School, when compared to other schools, offers reasonable rates for your higher education. When students enroll at the Fox School they place themselves in a winning situation – they get a top-rate education at a reasonable cost.
These principles are reflected in the content and delivery of your graduate business education.
