Fox School Launches “Thank you Professor” Site
“Students don’t always have an way to thank a professor who has really made a difference,” said Samuel D. Hodge, professor and chair of legal studies for the Fox School of Business, and director of the school’s Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning. “And professors do great things.”
To provide an easy venue for Fox School students to thank their professors, the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning has launched a “Thank you Professor” Web site.
The site asks students, “Who makes it worthwhile to go to class? Who makes class content interesting? From whom have you learned a lot?”
When a student fills out the form, a letter is sent to the instructor being thanked conveying the student’s appreciation, and the student’s comments are posted anonymously to the Web site. See http://www.fox.temple.edu/thankyou/
