The Fox School of Business Alumni Association presents Transforming Your Fox Business Education Into Future Professional Success. This professional development event is part of our Breakfast With Fox series. The event topic will be delivered by FSBAA President James Sanders.
Mr. Sanders has expertise in banking, investment management, consulting management and economic development. He pursued an Executive MBA at Fox in order to take his career to the next professional level, and he’ll share how he utilized his education to become more successful.
Currently, Mr. Sanders is the vice president of commercial and industrial lending at Customers Bank; previously he was vice president of government guaranteed lending and commercial loan officer at Cape Bank. Prior to Cape Bank, he served as director with The Enterprise Center, a regional economic development organization and operator of the U.S. Department of Commerce Minority Business Development Agency Business Center in Philadelphia (MBDA). He provided management consulting and advised more than 1,000 minority-owned businesses. Those firms have secured over $300 million in contracts and $65 million in financing. Preceding MBDA, Mr. Sanders worked in the financial services industry with industry leaders such as The Vanguard Group and Wachovia Bank (now Wells Fargo).
He holds a BS in Economics and Finance from Virginia State University, and an Executive MBA from Temple University, Fox School of Business.
Please note: Business casual is recommended in all areas of the club. Jacket and tie are preferred for men in the club when dining, though not required. Ladies are asked to use discretion and dress accordingly. Casual clothing, such as jeans, denim outfits and sneakers are not appropriate club attire.
