Dr. Zhigen Zhao

Zhigen Zhao has been appointed as an Assistant Professor in the department of Statistics at the Fox School. He received his BS in mathematics from Nankai University’s School of mathematical sciences in China and his PhD in the department of mathematics at Cornell University in 2009. Dr. Zhao’s concentration is mathematical statistics. Dr. Zhao published an article in the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society Series B, a top-tier journal in statistics, and in the Journal of Tianjin Agricultural College. He has worked as a statistical consultant for Cornell’s statistical consulting unit and is a member of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics (IMS), American Statistical Association (ASA) and the American Mathematics Society (AMS).
