Dr.  Yuexiao Dong

Yuexiao Dong is joining the Fox School as an Assistant Professor in the Statistics Department. Dr. Dong received a BS in mathematics from Tsinghua University, which is one of the top universities in China. He then obtained his MS and PhD in statistics from Penn State University in 2009. Dr. Dong’s research interests include dimension reduction and estimating equations. He has an article forthcoming in the Annals of Statistics, which is a top-tier journal in statistics. At Penn State, Dr. Dong served as a student consultant at the Statistical Consulting Center and on the student advisory committee of the department of statistics. Additionally, he has worked as a research intern for the FDA in the division of biometrics I of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, and in the statistics and intelligent systems group at Lubrizol.
