Milton Parnes has been a faculty member in Templeâs Statistics department since 1977. He has published over twenty papers in several areas of Mathematics and Statistics, and received research funding from NIH and several grants from the U.S. Army. Some of the published papers are recognized as being at the crossroads of the foundation of the subject. These include papers on Conditional Probability, Multivariate Survival Analysis, and Rank and Selection. His broad interests include the mathematics and statistics of gambling. This has led to an undergraduate course and a special course for high school teachers.
