Dr. Arun Kumaraswamy

General and Strategic Management
Dr. Arun Kumaraswamy has been appointed as an Assistant Professor of General and Strategic Management at the Fox School. Previously, he taught at Singapore Management University and Rutgers University. Dr. Kumaraswamy received his PHD in management from New York University. He has published numerous articles in refereed journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal and Organization Science. He has also published in MIS Quarterly, which is a top tier journal in management information systems. Furthermore, he has published an edited book — Managing in the Modular Age: Architectures, Networks and Organizations (2003) — and three chapters in edited books. Dr. Kumaraswamy has also presented at various national and international conferences, including INFORMS Conference and the Academy of Management Conference, and has published several articles in the proceedings of international conferences. He is a reviewer for many prestigious journals, and serves on the selection committee for the Academy of Management William H. Newman Award for Outstanding Papers, based on recent dissertations.
