Ken Kopecky, executive editor of the Journal of Economics and Business, has published extensively in that journal and other leading publications such as the Journal of Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Monetary Economics, and Journal of Money, Credit and Banking. He has served as a referee for over a dozen scholarly journals in the fields of monetary economics and financial markets, and presented papers in these areas at conferences throughout the U.S. A former senior economist for the Federal Reserve Board, he worked on the Monetary Control Act of 1980 and the reevaluation of the Federal Open Market Committee’s operating procedures.
