Getting CSPD’d

1. Getting Started

A 50-minute workshop that introduces students to CSPD services, including an overview of FoxNet, our career management system. Students will also learn more about the FoxNet job search, employer expectations, exploring the market and the ethics of the job search.

2. FoxNet Profile Completion

A completed profile is required to apply for internships and full-time positions on FoxNet. All FoxNet data entered by students is confidential and accessed only by CSPD staff. The CSPD utilizes FoxNet profile data to notify and update students about job listings and other important information. Employers are not permitted to access student FoxNet profiles.

3. Resume Development

A 50-minute workshop in which participants review the Fox School signature resume, learn more about ways to transfer individual skills to a business context, and incorporate how to use the three-bullet format to describe their experiences.

4. Resume Critique

After you compile your Fox signature resume, CSPD staff or a CSPD corporate partner will conduct an in-depth resume review with helpful tips to improve your document. See our Google online calendar for dates and times.

Please note:

In order to have your resume critiqued you must attend a Resume Development Workshop first.

Resume critique hours are also walk in hours.
