CSPD Resume Guide

The CSPD resume guide is designed to help your resume stand out among dozens, perhaps hundreds of candidate resumes. Please keep in mind, this is to be used as a “guide,” not the only format you can consider. Ultimately, you make the final decision as to what format to use and what information will be included in your resume.

This resume guide is designed for students whose extended experience requires a slightly different format.

The following formats have been recommended by CSPD for your resume. Please read carefully below to identify the appropriate category describing your status.

For students who are considering the Fall 2013 MAcc program:

TEMPLE UNIVERSITY, Fox School of Business, Philadelphia, PA
Bachelor of Business Administration, Graduation: May 2013
Major:   Accounting | Total expected credits: 126
GPA:  3.5   Dean’s List:  Fall 2008 – present
Anticipated Graduate Program: Master of Accountancy Program, August 2014

For those who have officially been accepted but have not started the MAcc program (these students are typically senior accounting majors):

TEMPLE UNIVERSITY, Fox School of Business, Philadelphia, PA
Bachelor of Business Administration, Graduation: May 2012
Major:   Accounting | Total expected credits: 126
GPA:  3.5   Dean’s List:  Fall 2008 – present
Accepted to the Class of 2013 Master of Accountancy Program

For those currently enrolled in the MAcc program and taking classes (the fall 2012 class):
