At the Fox School, we believe that the most effective management education features real-world experience, and the Enterprise Management Consulting Practicum (EMC) provides our MBA students with an unparalleled experiential learning opportunity that combines theory and practice.
Designed to fully integrate the MBA curriculum, this six-credit, capstone course includes academic instruction, case study analysis, and a live consulting project. For the project, students work in closely supervised teams to provide strategic consulting to a real-world client. Our Approach.
EMC provides our students with unique opportunities. They have an opportunity to apply newly acquired business concepts before graduating from the program, which solidifies learning. The consulting project provides our students with interesting discussion points for job interviews and networking, and in fact, many Fox MBA graduates cite EMC as a differentiating experience that helped them land a job. Additionally, our students receive regular coaching from Philadelphia-area business executives, who serve as project managers. This provides them with personalized attention from an accomplished leader and opportunities to strengthen their business networks.
