Direct (Billed) Expenses
For an excellent return on investment, it is hard to beat the Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program at the Fox School of Business. The annual tuition and program fee covers nearly every aspect of the MAcc program, including:
- MAcc orientation and recruiting programs held throughout the 3-semster program
- Instructional costs for the fall, spring and summer sessions for one academic year
- Course materials, including cases and assignments (does not include text books)
- CPA exam preparatory review course for two parts of the CPA exam: Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) and Auditing and Attestation (AUD)
- Networking programs with recruiters from the Big 4 and other national and regional CPA firms
- Travel costs for visits to regulatory agencies
- Out of pocket colloquium costs, including lunch
The total cost for tuition for all students entering the MAcc program in the fall of 2011 will be total of $30,000 of $1,000 per credit hour(s.h.). Other University-related program fees for the current academic year can be found by visiting the Bursar Office website. Please note that tuition and University fees are subject to change for each entering class in future academic years.
Indirect Expenses
Indirect (personal) expenses vary from student to student, depending on the choice of accommodations and individual lifestyle. In addition to the annual tuition and program fee for the program, students can expect to pay $1,500 to $2,000 per month. The estimate is based on student feedback and will generally include the following expenses:

- Utilities
- Personal Travel
- Miscellaneous personal living expenses
