Japan
Tokyo marks the culmination of the International MBA (IMBA) experience. Here, students spend three weeks engaging in an intense cultural immersion that includes class lectures, site visits, and meetings with senior executives from local companies and multinational firms operating in Japan.
All classes are conducted at Temple University Japan, the oldest and largest American university in Japan. Recognized nationally for the quality of its education and extensive range of programs, TUJ boasts a robust network of alumni that includes Tokyo-based executives, authors and researchers.
Complementing students’ classroom experiences are a host of non-academic extracurricular experiences that reveal Japan’s sophisticated culture and ancient heritage such as hikes on Mount Fuji and visits to the annual Gion Festival in Kyoto.
As one of the largest and most influential metropolitan regions of Asia, Tokyo is the center of Japanese politics, commerce and economics. It continues to provide the vision and resources for the future of the Pacific Rim and offers International MBA students an in-depth appreciation for business practices in this part of the world.
