Full-Time MBA
Timeline & Schedule
Students in the Fox School’s Full-Time MBA (FMBA) program are afforded a rich and diverse two-year learning experience that prepares them for their future careers.
MBA Essentials, a required month-long comprehensive orientation, serves as the entrée into the MBA programs at the Fox School of Business. This occurs in August – prior to the start of students’ first fall semester — and emphasizes such subjects as professional development and team building. During this time, students also complete Quantitative Methods for Business.
Coursework in the Full-Time MBA Program is typically completed in Alter Hall on Temple University’s Main Campus. Concentration classes take place in the evening.
Students in their first year can anticipate taking a range of courses, the focus of which include financial and managerial accounting, marketing management strategy, financial analysis and business strategy.
The second year of the Full-Time MBA experience builds upon the lessons learned during year one and includes courses that cover risk management, managing business processes, leadership development, ethics, and business law.
Students in the Full-Time MBA are also required to participate in an internship or equivalent experience in the summer prior to their second year.
