Tuition & Fees
Temple University is a state-related institution; therefore, has different tuition rates for Pennsylvania state residents. Students make tuition payments to Temple University at the beginning of each semester.
Each year, tuition rates for the subsequent academic year are announced by the Board of Trustees. Rate changes will be posted when official announcements are made in June.

Philadelphia Area Communities
Many residents live in beautiful Victorian University City, Center City, South Philly, or in the Art Museum vicinity, which is a quick ride using Philadelphia’s public transportation system called SEPTA. Other residents choose to live in Manayunk or Mount Airy, where renting a small home with a backyard is readily affordable. Still others live in Narberth, on Philadelphia’s Main Line, or in nearby Delaware County communities, where campus is little more than a 30-minute drive or train ride away.

Cost of Living
The cost of living in the greater Philadelphia area is lower than most major metropolitan areas including Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Washington, DC, and Boston.
