The Fox Executive MBA program is exclusively for experienced business professionals who want to sharpen their management and decision-making skills. The average EMBA student has nearly 20 years of business experience and 12 years of management experience, ensuring a rich and diverse class environment.

All EMBA classes are held at the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center in Chester County, PA. Additionally, EMBA students enjoy access to all of the facilities and resources on Temple University’s main campus.

The Executive MBA program at the Fox School of Business offers the dynamic combination of a high-impact curriculum, a novel class schedule, world-renowned faculty and a vibrant professional network.

The Fox EMBA is a 16-month, predominantly non-residential program.

Classes meet one Friday, Saturday, Sunday weekend per month.

Overnight stays are required only at the beginning of the program. However, there are two residencies during the duration of the 16-month program. Students are strongly encouraged to attend all residencies – in fact Fox will pay for overnight stays.

Students in the EMBA program may take advantage of the overnight accommodations offered by the Desmond Hotel and Conference Center. EMBA students who reside more than 50 miles away can stay overnight on Thursday evening and Fox will pick up the tab.

Yes, the program includes an international field study – a week-long educational experience that provides second-year EMBA students with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the business and culture of a foreign country. This is an integral component of the EMBA curriculum and takes place in the spring semester of the second year of the program in conjunction with the global strategy course. In addition, students may take courses at any of our Global EMBA programs.

Learning in the Fox EMBA program is team based and many assignments and projects are collaborative. This ensures that participants can leverage the talents and experiences of their peers to maximize team performance.

A number of factors are taken into account when choosing our students, including professional experience, ability to contribute in the classroom, unique skills, aptitude, potential, and managerial skills.

Yes, a GMAT is required for admission to the program. The GMAT can be waived for students with sufficient experience. The GMAT will be waived for students who have taken an advanced graduate test such as the LSAT or MEDCAT.

Fox Executive MBA students are eligible for up to $20,500 in Federal Stafford Loan funding. Temple University’s Office of Student Financial Services can assist you with these loans. In addition, there is also an alumni rewards program that offers a 5% tuition scholarship to any Temple University undergraduate alumnus who is accepted into one of Fox’s MBA programs.
