Stan Ross doesn’t just talk about the “real world” with his students. He lives it every day.
A member of the Fox School faculty since 1992, Ross is also president of SIRCO Consultants, Inc., a consulting company specializing in financial training for non-financial professionals at corporations around the world. Prior to that, he worked in Singapore for the DuPont Company where he was director of finance for Asian Operations. In that position, he was responsible for the financial and systems operations in 10 rapidly growing countries in the region. Ross also spent many years performing human resources functions at DuPont, managing world-wide financial hiring, personnel development and succession planning.
In 1996, the U.S. Department of Education and the Internal Revenue Service asked Ross to join a distinguished group that acts as consultants to their respective agencies. Ross is a member of The Institute of Certified Financial Planners, a featured speaker at business conferences, and a guest columnist for a business publication.
“Being a part of the Fox EMBA program has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Each year, I look forward to the high level of professionalism and enthusiasm of the incoming class. There hasn’t been a year that I haven’t walked away with a sense of enrichment and a feeling of ‘We did it!’ ”
Ross earned his bachelor’s degree from Northeastern University and his MBA from Widener University. He is a licensed certified financial planner.
