Celebrating

'2013 the International Year of Statistics'

The Conference on High Dimensional Statistics will be held at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, on April 12, 2013 to celebrate the international year of statistics. The one day conference will include lectures by internationally prominent researchers, chosen by the organizing committee; and will be organized by themes. The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers and scientists interested in high dimensional statistics, its applications, and related areas. This includes theoretical and applied statisticians as well as scientists from other fields such as medicine, engineering, computer science and business. The conference will include participation by leading experts as well as junior researchers and graduate students. The conference will create a forum to discuss recent progress and emerging ideas in the area and encourage informal discussions among all the participants. It is anticipated that the conference will have participation from industry, academia, and research institutes.

The conference will be held at Temple University’s main campus, Alter Hall, 7th floor.
