NEED A PASSPORT?

Going somewhere? You're going to need a passport!                         

 

What You Need To Bring

  • Proof of U.S. Citizenship
  • Verification of your Identity       
  • You will need to know the birth dates of your parents, where they were born, and your mother's maiden name
  • Two checks or money orders
    • Passport Book Application Fee $110.00
      (made payable to U.S. Department of State)
    • Passport Card Application Fee $30.00 (valid for land & sea travel only)
      (made payable to U.S. Department of State)
    • Execution Fee: $25.00 (made payable to Temple University)
  • 1 passport type photo: Can be taken at the time of the appointment, with the required camera and film. The additional cost for the picture is $10. The money order should be made payable to the Temple University.

    (Sorry, No cash/credit cards. You can buy a money order from 7-11 on Liacouras Walk)

Passport Processing Time

Fill out the forms required online at: https://pptform.state.gov/?Submit2=COMPLETE+FORM+DS-11+ONLINE and DO NOT SIGN the documents prior to the appointment. When printing the application, print one sided documents as we cannot submit a two-sided application form. Please bring all six pages with you.

Routine Processing ($135.00 fee for the Passport Book, $55.00 fee for the Passport Card): According to the National Passport Information Center web site, “Normally Routine Service passports are received within 4 - 6 weeks. 

Expedited Processing ($60.00 fee in addition to the routine application fee of $135.00 for the Passport Book and $55.00 for the Passport Card): According to the National Passport Information Center web site, “Normally, Expedite Service takes 2 weeks to receive your passport from the date you applied.”
