The event is organized by the Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS) and is co-sponsored by seventeen CIBERs. This high-profile event represents the official exploration arm of JIBS. Temple CIBER is slated to host this conference in 2005.

5th Biennial International Business Institute for Community College Faculty

This highly regarded and unique professional development program was designed specifically for community and technical college faculty. It provides participants with the knowledge, experience and resources they need to internationalize general business courses and/or develop specialized international buisness coureses at the two-year college level.

NASBITE International Trade Certification

The North American Small Business International Trade Educators association (NASBITE), in cooperation with the Professional Examination Service (New York), recently began the second year of a three year process to develop a national Certificate in International Trade (working title).

This Certificate is intended to recognize the unique skills required by individuals involved either directly in international trade (practitioners), or in the training and support of trade. The first certification exam will be administered in early 2004.

2003 CIBER Language Conference: International Business Language and Technology: New Synergies, New Times

Building on previous CIBER Language Conferences, this conference explores the juncture between languages and the professions. This year's thematic areas explore the synergy between technology, foreign languages and the professions.
