Intra-University Transfer

IUT Workshop

  • Current Temple students interested in transferring to the Fox School of Business must attend an IUT workshop. Reservations are required.
  • You will receive an email confirmation of your reservation - prompt arrival is expected. If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, you will not be admitted to the workshop and will need to reschedule.
  • At the workshop, you will:
    - receive an evaluation of how your credits earned to date will apply toward a business degree.
    - learn about the business degree requirements, majors, minors and professional development
    - be able to begin your transfer to business.
  • You are expected to complete preliminary research on Fox degree programs prior to the workshop

Before you attend a workshop:

  • Know why you are considerating a change in major - what are your goals, your strengths, your weaknesses? There are many avenues to reach most goals and business may be only one avenue. You need to know your goals to find the best program fit for you!
  • The BBA program is very quantitative! If you don’t like or do well in math, this is not the program for you! - Read our program requirements in the Fox School of Business and Management section of the Undergraduate Bulletin that corresponds to the date you matriculated at Temple University (your catalog year is listed on your DARS report available through OWLnet - use the archived bulletins if you were admitted prior to the current year.)
  • You must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 to transfer into the Fox School.
  • Review our suggested sequence to take some classes that would work for our program.
    • suggested sequence for all students admitted prior to fall 2008 and transfer students admitted fall 2008 through spring 2010
    • suggested sequence for freshman admitted fall 2008 and later
  • Math 1022 (C074) replaces Statistics 1001 (C011); Math 75, 1031 (C077), or 1041 (C085) replaces Statistics 1102 (C012); Math 1013 (C067), Psychology 1167 (C067), Sociology 1167 (C067), or 3201 (0201) will replace Statistics 2101. Minimum grades of C- are required.
